Welcome to Discovery Market. Below is all the key information you need ahead of your trading day with us. Please read through carefully before attending your market.

Market Locations & Schedule

Discovery Market Falmouth

Location: Events Square, Falmouth
Market Days: Thursdays & Saturdays (April – September)
Trading Hours: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Arrival Time: Between 7:30am and 9:30am

Discovery Market Wadebridge

Location: Molesworth Street, Wadebridge
Market Days: Second & last Wednesday of each month
Trading Hours: 09:00am – 3:00pm
Arrival Time: Between 7:00am and 8:30am

A Market Marshall will be on-site each morning to assist with setup and any questions.

Loading & Unloading

Falmouth – Events Square

You are permitted to drive onto Events Square during setup and pack-down periods to unload and load directly beside your pitch.

  • Unloading begins from: 7:30am
  • Please ensure vehicles are moved off-site promptly once unloaded
  • End-of-day loading begins after: 4:00pm

Please unload efficiently and support fellow traders by helping keep traffic moving during busy setup periods.

Wadebridge – Molesworth Street

As the market takes place along the high street, traders cannot park directly outside their stall during setup due to limited space.

Please unload at the designated drop-off points detailed on your site plan. Different access points and unloading zones may apply depending on your pitch location.

A Market Marshall will be on-site to help direct traders during setup.

We kindly ask all traders to:

  • Be patient during setup
  • Follow steward instructions
  • Support one another during unloading
  • Move vehicles promptly once unloaded

Site Plans

A site plan will be emailed out the day before each market (typically by the end of the day).

Your site plan will include:

  • Pitch location
  • Setup access information
  • Loading/unloading zones
  • Any market-specific instructions

What’s Provided

Gazebos

  • Gazebos are fully erected in advance
  • Side walls are attached inside using velcro
  • Please remove side walls carefully at the end of the day if used

Includes: 2 tables

4.5m x 1.5m Pitch
Includes: 2 tables

4.5m x 3m Dual-Facing Pitch
Includes: 4 tables

Pitch Fees

Pitch fees vary depending on market location, pitch size, and electricity requirements.

Please refer to your booking confirmation or Eventaly listing for the latest pricing information.

Parking

Falmouth Parking

Trader parking is available at the Maritime Museum Car Park, adjacent to Events Square.

  • Parking is free during April and May
  • From June onwards, parking is charged at £6 per day

All traders must register their vehicle on the day they are trading by visiting the National Maritime Museum reception desk between 10:00am and 4:00pm.

Please note:

  • Vehicle registration must be completed each market day attended
  • Failure to register your vehicle may result in a Parking Charge Notice (PCN)
  • Discovery Market cannot overturn parking fines issued due to non-registration

If you need help, please speak to the Market Marshall on-site.

Wadebridge Parking

There is no dedicated trader parking directly beside the market.

We recommend parking at:

Old Cattle Market Car Park
Polmorla Road, Wadebridge

Please allow extra time during setup to unload and move your vehicle before trading begins.

Insurance & Safety

All traders must provide:

  • Public Liability Insurance (minimum £2 million)

  • PAT-tested equipment (if using electricals)

Food & Drink Traders must also submit:

  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate

  • Completed Risk Assessment

  • Registration with Cornwall Council EHO (or other relevant local authority)

All documentation must be received in advance of your trading date.
